Hazelnut Crust

A low-carb substitute for a biscuit-crumb base.

Ingredients:

8oz hazelnuts

4 tablespoons melted butter

Method

Pour the hazelnuts into a food processor (with the S-blade attached) and process to a medium-fine meal

Pour in the melted butter and combine with the nuts

Press the mixture into a greased flan dish

Bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cool and add chosen filling.
